A plee to the itching ear

Why seekest thou thine own understandings? You abhor reproof; you hate him who chastens you in your iniquity. A fools errand is your every step, and you take pleasure in all your evils and collect unto yourself allies to affirm eachothers hatreds as if they were wisdom. Deep within your bowels are the very betrayals of Judas, and like the envy of Saul, you seek to despise the good men of God. How be it that you would assume yourself guiltless before Christ? In no manner have you confessed your wickedness, you thought not to ponder your ways if they were righteousness in God. The holy man of the Lord is suffering for your cause, and he endureth your evils in the hopes of your repentance. O wicked nation of scorners, He now has aparted himself: for you have so grieved him and offended your loving brother who sought to pull you up from your stumblelings. Repent, saith the Lord of hosts, repent, repent! Lest the enemy gain the victory over you, and you be dragged away to your doom.

Anointing Vision

A time has past since I have been revealed as His humbled servant. It is the Spirit of the Lord that now prompts me to make record of what has been shown to me. Lo, I was praying in the Spirit at night, earnestly seeking the presence of God. In a moments notice I was taken up and saw a brightness dimly from under me as I was face fallen. Unlike ever before, a great emanating power overwhelmed me to tremble. As I lifted my eyes slowly, behold His feet glowing before me at my right hand and light as it were a rainbow. At first, I dared not look any higher for I knew at the heated metal of His step that it was our Lord. Then, turning my eyes to my right side, I saw a line of those who were knelt before His throne. Among them, I was the last to the far left. I turn my eyes once more to look upon His glory… suddenly the vision had ceased and I was back in my tent in the wilderness. In this I had no other but to give honor and praise to Him our faithful God.

Lean not on your own understanding brethren. Christ said, “After this manner therefore pray ye:…” you must pray in accordance to God’s will. His will is revealed to us in the Holy Scriptures. With this in mind, we learn His desires for us and in-turn we pray as He would want, not how we would want for ourselves. This also placing in our hearts the desire of His will over our own. Prayer is the vehicle in which we render ourselves complete unto our loving God. Much more over than simply a request for something to occur. Be blessed in believing the hope of Christ Jesus, and pursue Him as you would water to your dying lips.

A task to bare, a cross to carry, a race to run. Never will a worthy soul turn away from the plow, we must press on by the strength of the Lord our Mighty Savior. Yea, they who confess Christ will show themselves approved unto God, dividing rightly the Word of Truth. Go forth, “…being not partakers…”, “…but rather reprove them.” Now walk in light for He whom ye serve is of light, finding peace in the hope that sustains us.

Assuredly I say, to walk with God is as the expression depicts. Not a crawl, not a stumble nor a limp. Indeed so, an upright, well-paced, peaceful walk. Each step properly balanced and firmly placed. In faith that the Lord will strengthen and uphold us. So forth, the race is before us.
